Randomly decided to go back to uni after dinner to play foosbal and pool and walk around to check the place out at night. :)

My houzmates are fun ppl heheh. Eventhough it was slightly drizzling, it didn’t stop us from acting like total tourists in our own uni. B)
Later on we went home and whatever we did ended up like

3.1.11 – Dinner!

Finally WE COOKED AT HOME.
Oh it was too funny. Yes somewhat unbelieavable that all this while we’ve been going out for dinner. But that’s what usually happens anyway. But this time Wai decided to cook for us and we helped.

All i can say is, looks can be deceiving HAHAHAHAH.
Had a good time laughing with the right company and everything. :)

There was alot of extra rice and i was blamed for it. D: Eventhough it was an accident HEHEHE.
And so yeah, we fed the stray doggy. Stray doggies EVERYWHEREEEE! And all so friendly and playful. :D

The nonsense that happened in the “cool” car. :) Missed them ppl. So it was good just hanging out and eating good food and updating each other on everything that has been happening!

Had no where else to go so we ended up talking outside the building, at the bus stop. HAHAHA .:D

Week 5

TIME.FLEW.BY.
I’ve already been uni for A MONTH! And for the past one month, i’ve experienced new stuffs and met many new people. :D

I think the main reason why it flew by for me was because i’ve been busy. Not with uni work (yet!) but i’ve somehow been occupied most of the time with stuffs. And i think the travelling back and forth from uni to home plays a huge part in it too. There’s always something to do!
Hopefully the past month was enough for me to get used to staying out on my own. I have to admit, driving all over can be tiring, but the way how everything feels so worth it when i reach home just makes me feel so heavy hearted when i have to leave again. Thus, making me travel back home at least twice a week so far. :B

In a way, it made me realised how unprepared i am to leave home entirely, to study overseas, for example. But then again, a lot of people wouldn’t know until they are actually overseas, and its something everyone has to experience themselves. Right now, im just thankful that home is just an hour’s drive away. :)

I have to admit, i’ve been really grateful for the friends i’ve made in class, as well as getting great housemates. I mean, you know, since they’re the people im with most of the times SO THEY’RE IMPORTANT.
Im just glad that all us classmates are able to communicate and have so much fun in class. And so far, everyone’s been so helpful. All this brings me back to high school. :’) And as for them housemates, things have gone pretty smoothly.

THINGS HAVE BEEN SO EXCITING LATELY. :D
Im just waiting for myself to fully settle down into the house. And everything else.
Then maybe i’ll join the majority of the people who will complain about how boring the whole place is with nothing to do at all and only to rot. :)

But right now, the oh-so-exciting daily routine would be to wake up, attend classes in uni, hangout with classmates after, back to the house, chill and get stuff done, dinner with housemates, berbonding, chill in the room, then eventually retire to bed. Yep.
K not as exciting as it looks but its fine for me. :) Maybe coz its still the time when everyone is still learning so much bout everyone else so things are still fresh.
We’ll see what happens after a few months heheh. :D

O right, WEEKLY BADMINTON SESSIONS IN UNI. :):):):):):):):):) Oh how i suck at the moment.

And maybe in a few months down, i’ll look back at this post and regret every single word and rant everyday how there’s nothing to do while im out other than blog. D:

So im usually really sceptical when it comes to japanese+fusion buffet/all-you-can-eat and they usually disappoint me anyway, but not TAO!:D
I actually enjoyed dining there, although our room was located at some other end of the maze from where the buffet spread was BUT ITS OKAY BECAUSE WE COULD ORDER ABALONESSSSS. neeed.more.

Anyway, thanks guys for spending my birthday with me. MMFs 4evah. <3

19.7.11- Zf’s + Ou + Kayu + Xh’s

Well, title’s pretty self explanatory. :) The never-ending game of Bluff/Bullshit, teamwork with ZF to put back the collar, and taking forever to go back home, as usual, speculating serious issues beside the cars, going home at nearly 3am. We say that its our trademark but i think roughly all close friends in a group would do that. :)

There’s so much to say about my first clubbing experience. And yet, so little to say at the same time.
Is it overrated? IDK.
Do i love it? Im okay.
So i hate it? Im okay.

It wasn’t a bad experience and im not one of those who thinks clubbing makes you a bad person. Or that people who go are those who are bad influence. It’s just. Alot of dancing. Unless you waste alot of money to get wasted and get a hangover the next day. Or hook up with strangers. Yeh you know it happens.

LOL lookit me talking like i know so much. Sucha noob. :B

31.7.11 – BU4 Sports Day!

Yeahh im quite bias. :/
But serious BLUE HSE DECO OWNAGE. Every year they turn it up a notch. Beats the hell outta me where they find all that time, effort, persistence and commitment to stick through to build a giant pumpkin-coach. CRAZY.

UWAH. Among MANY other things, flying carpets hanging from the tent, and in the background, Cinderella’s glass slipper and the magic lamp from Aladdin. (Y) YOU HAVE MY RESPECT, deco committee.

Okay well so that wraps up my July. :) Twas a great month indeed. :)

ON an unrelated note, i’d just like to rant about how i can’t help but feel that some people flood my news feed with their pictures as if to prove a point to the world saying “Hey look! I have a life and its filled with so many interesting things and events that i need to take a huge chunk of my time devoted to uploading pictures so that everyone will know im not not-cool and i’ll amplify all my happy moments for some 5 seconds of fame on everyone’s newsfeed.”

Well la-dee-dah. Good for you.

But it isn’t over.

The tagging only starts a week later so that when all the fuss is over, over the pictures, everything is brought up in news feed again. And sometimes, its just too easy to spot that the owner of the album is tagging him/herself so that he/she would have double all the pictures YAY.

Well LA-DEE-DAH.

Of course, albums with more than 3 people in it would be the exception to my rants.

JULY <3 1

It’s my favourite month of the year! :D So many things make it such a great month. Especially this year.

Besides the fact that im a July baby, i also have the opportunity to celebrate it with friends who are back from overseas! :D
And because A-Level is done, the whole of July was dedicated to having FUN.
And of course, its a month of SALES. Sales are great. A lot of consumer surplus for me, which makes me happy all the time when buying stuff. :D

So yea. I don’t think i’ll have the discipline to blog about each event/occassion in detail so this post will just have to do for the time being. :)

1.7.11 – College + Fatty Crab + Pc’s

Went back to college with Haq to sort out the deposits. Even though the last time i saw him was more than a week ago at that time, it was still nice seeing him again, considering we used to see each other on a daily basis.
Of course, i then took the opportunity to get cendol. BEST EVAHH. :D

After that, i went over to Zf’s for awhile And after that, over to Fatty Crab to have a belated birthday celebration for Jeff! It was suppose to be a surprise, which was quite a failure. A funny failure. :D Had fun nevertheless.

10.7.11 – 5Ter Reunion

Even though not a lot showed up, it was still nice to see familiar faces. :)
But ughhughughugh so dark+ugly because i was sunburnt so badddddd. And my face was SHEDDING SKIN so badly.
There had to be some aftermath of superfuntimes in the sun so i guess its only fair.

12.7.11 – Pc Day

It’s called Pc Day because obviously, the day was dedicated to him. :)
The whole day was kinda spent with him. Starting with meeting up to have Jackson’s Burger for brunch then walking around Digital Mall with Zf, Phil and Justin, then having my first Chatime at SS2 Mall, banana leaf dinner at Nirwana in Bangsar with the whole gang then back to Pc’s place to hang out before he left. :/

Haven’t gotten the group pictures yet. :/
As for the not really appetizing looking burger, everyone knows the sloppier it is, the better, right? :D

15.7.11 – Shopping with girls!

So the title’s pretty self-explanatory. :) Had to attend a scholarship interview right before so everything was pretty rushed for me. But still, a fun day! :D

Okay obviously Tj has perfected the skill of moving face muscles at lightning speed to be able to make different faces for each shot. (Y)
And i obviously haven’t heh. :)

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT’S OVER. ITS JUST SURREAL.
I have been seriously (day) dreaming about how this moment would feel like.
And right now, it feels so. pointless. I AM WITHOUT AN AIM.
When i woke up this morning, i didn’t need to rush to get up, to eat some cereal, read the newspaper, then straight to the books. My routine for the past weeks. So today felt kinda weird. But still awesome. :)

I can’t say i feel confident about the papers. Even if i did, i wouldn’t wanna jinx myself. EDEXCEL, WHY YOU SO INCONSISTENT AND UNPREDICTABLE.
From past experiences, i learnt not to expect ANYTHING.

But im truly grateful for how things turned out. Although its still early to tell since my results will only be out in Aug which will determine where i’ll be heading to, but so far, things haven’t been so bad.
Like im thankful that for all the upset tummies i had, i had enough time to recover to sit for the next paper. And my body’s usually sensitive when im sleep-deprived, my nose will act up and everything would be messed up, but i was fine throughout.
Ugh did i mention about period? Im just so grateful the heaviest day did not fall on the day i had to take my law paper. I WOULD CRY.

..yeah, heavy period during law paper IS A HUGE THING.

Charity car wash 2.10.09

In a week’s time, it would mark 2 years since my first day of college. I remember throughout college, i had seriously TOO MUCH stuff to rant about EVERYDAY.
If it wasn’t about people, it was lecturers. Or the journey to college. THE JOURNEY TO COLLEGE. It is tedious and so unnecessary ughghghghghg i don’t understand it.
But yeah, as time passed, i convincingly told myself that it wasn’t so bad. And it wasn’t.

OB Night 25.2.10

Like taking an hour to get to college, since there was a lot of walking involved, it was my daily form of exercise which i badly needed. Plus i get to count the number of condoms on the pavement every time i walk to college! And then proudly announce it later! :D
Or about the people, yes i am aware that we might not all be in the same wave-length, but that’s what makes us unique and interesting to each other. I have seriously learnt A GREAT DEAL from the people around me in college and have no regrets. :)
And of course the friends i’ve made in the two years. It only struck me (hard) last night that there wasn’t going to be a the same routine going to college anymore. No more whining about how tired i was. No more lockers. No more library and colourful chairs. No more Law, Acc, Econ & Math. No more proudly made awkward silences. No more trying to figure out how the heck the college emblem would be formed by looking down from the top balcony of the Agora. No more sneakily pressing the lift buttons while passing it just to slow down the people inside. GOOD TIMES HAHAH.

4 down, 2 to go

I can’t wait to start labelling my posts. Everything would look so much more organized!

Yeeaa i shouldn’t be doing this right now. But i really need to clear my mind. Exams are always so stressful. :(

I guess its more stressful this time because i know for a fact that i won’t have the benefit of retaking anymore papers since its my last sem.
Bitter-sweet moment it is.
No more second (or even third) chances this time. :(

And because of that, it gets me thinking. What happens if my results are crappy? If only things were a bit more clear. And more predictable. I guess that what makes life interesting? But yea that’s not good enough. THIS IS CRITICAL STUFF RIGHT HERE. I need to be certain of things. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE IM HEADING TO. If im heading anywhere at all. Maybe i should just become a cashier in McD and work my way up (hopefully) to become the manager. And be awesome and fat. K fine, no prejudice that McD managers are fat.

I DON’T NEED THIS. I AM AN INTELLIGENT GIRL AND WILL BECOME WHAT I WANT TO BE IN THE FUTURE.

I will become an art teacher :) No i won’t. I’ll be super successful and rich and happy.
Funny how most of us Asians think that the benchmark of being successful in the future is by having truckloads of money to burn.
Kk master plan. I will be smart, land a job that will make me filthy rich then i’ll quit, open my own nail art business and be awesome. At the same time. i’ll conduct art&craft classes during the nights and earn some side income and be happy with my 3 dogs until im old. :)

And when the time is right, I’ll hand over the super successful nail art business to one of my daughters. :) That way she wouldn’t have to go through all the nonsense of studying psht.

What am i talking about. Studying is great. Im going to look back on this post 10 years from now and think of how lame and stupid i was as a 20 year-old while the older me is slaving her life away at some McD kiosk.

On an unrelated note, the baby birds have flew away!
I can’t help but to feel somewhat lucky to be able to witness the baby birds growing up enough to fly away. :’)
Totally unexpected tho, they still looked really bald and fragile. But it was so nice, being able to see how the parent come to feed the baby birds, making so much noise all the time.

I remembered i was super ecstatic when i found out birds were building a nest outside of my parent’s bedroom window. I’d go to the window everyday to see the progress on the nest-building until it crashed. CRUMBLED TO PIECES.
So they had to start all over again. On the other corner! And FINALLY THERE WERE BABY BIRDS and i’d go there all the time for a short break from studying. And today they flew away.

I HOPE YOU BABY BIRDS COME BACK AND BUILD A NEST HERE FOR YOUR BABIES.

Have been busy for the past weeks.

Attended the Axiata Scholarship Assessment Programme. I actually prepared a post on my experience but something happened and it was gone so now im lazy to do anything about it heh. :)

Other than that, attended a charity dinner for my school, thanks to Justin Yong!

Went around catching sales (SALES ARE OMG) and also went on for a shoot for a Perodua TVC.

And attended my official last class in college! D: BITTER-SWEET MOMENT.

What better way to treat someone who can eat a cow with all-you-can-eat pasta? :D
And only for about RM15++ HOW AWESOME IS THAT.
Ok sound so cheapskate hahah but def a good deal! Unlimited supply of food which was satisfying + good ambience.

It was a really cosy place with nice interior deco. IT HAD REALLY NICE WALLPAPER.
We were the earliest because i was sort of determined to get there before JustinYong. :3 I think.. he still got there earlier than us. Nvm, a record worth keeping. ;)

We had the option of sitting outside by the lake but since the weather was a lil too hot for our liking, we decided to sit indoors. Heard the view’s prettier at night, though. :D

CLOUDS IN THE WATER WAH.

So we had about 6-7 fixed options of different sauces for our spaghetti but most of us repeatedly order the same thing, thanks so Kent’s recommendations.

Most ordered, Chicken &olive olio and White fish pesto. They were good!
I ONLY ATE 3 PLATES THO. But thats okay. :D The unlimited pasta came with unlimited supply of salad and mushroom soup so YAY!

I think the last time we were all together was. A VERY LONG TIME AGO.
So being the earliest group and also one of the latest to leave, it was a productive time catching up. :D

Well I didn’t go last year so experiencing it gain was nice. :D

MB this year was held at KDU this time, not KBU. And i have a lil problem with that.
The jam was just really stupid. KBU was FINE. Its kinda secluded since its not right beside a major highway, not prone to having traffic jams right outside and there would not be a need for dumb traffic people telling motorists that they’re not allowed to park inside the college AFTER they have entered the college, thus directing everyone back to the LDP into the stupid jam. –_____-

Okay but maybe the hall was abit cooler and more spacious. There was another tier where the performers hung out which i think is cool. No need to migle with us lame spectators. D:

Cool thing about this year’s MB was that they made it into a competition too, rather than just a talent night. So the performers had more incentive to practice and deliver better, which i think was effective. :D First prize was RM800 WHO DON’T WANT?? :D

Season Drums! Missed it last year, not gonna miss it again this year! :D

Choir was sad. Sound system really did not favour them. :/ Keyboard was overpowering the voices throughout the one song performance.

THESE GIRLS. were. the best! :D Definitely deserve to win it. According the Jeff’s and my judgements. :D
Their voices were in harmony perfectly. And THE UKELELES OMG. SO COOOL AND CUTE. Plus their outfits. :D Naturals~
Kudos to them!

Yeah this is just a cool picture because of the costumes. Very extravagant. So were the traditional malay instruments providing the.. very weird melody/beat for them dancers. Maybe i just didn’t know how to appreciate it. :/

Don’t have a lot of pictures of performances coz i took videos instead for some, and others i was just too mesmerized or i just failed to take good pictures. :)

Other memorable performances for me, other than the ones mentioned were Channels Gone Wild, the contemporary dance, the solo singers and of course the finale and a few others. Was partially disappointed that Blitzerz didn’t perform tho.
Nevertheless still a good show! :D

Oh right. Another disappointment. Quite a big one.
THE CROWD. youaresostupid.

If i could say something to the crowd there in general, i’d say,

HI CROWD. You are crazy lame for not cheering AT ALL. Half of you consist of parents who came to give support to your children who are performing but seriously, i have no idea how any crowd could fail even more. When a band comes out to play and indicate that they want interaction from the audience, you are expected to play along for the sake of the performance and for the sake of the whole event. Just sitting there and giving your opinions to the person sitting next to you isn’t enough considering the whole thing has become a competition, the judges would have to partially rely on the feedback of the crowd to see if the performance have connected successfully. How the heck are they suppose to judge when you just sit there and act like a dead fish. Only cheering for your child’s performance and remaining silent for the rest of the show is the saddest thing to do because you are not showing any sportsmanship.

To the few members of the crowd who did cheer and play along, kudos.
To the few members of the crowd who stared at me one kind for probably making “too much noise”, well you guys suck.
I need to bring you to MB a few years back just to see how we roll. ;)

The day was cool. Felt i needed to get out of the house so ended up walking the whole of Ou.
The familiarity gives me some comfort. :) But its sad that the old wing is now a total bore. I seriously can’t wait until all the new stores open and see if they would live up to customers’ expectations.

After that, headed over to SS2’s Thursday pasar malam! :D
PMs are awesome. The smoke and oily fumes staining your hair, haggling, delicious food that will kill you one day and of course, people all over yelling into your ears and the occasional feet-stepping. :)
Met EngHoe and exposed him to the wonders of pasarmalams. I seriously don’t know what he has been dong all these while. B)

And after that, went to Curve to meet up with Kent and Jimmeh. Jeff ffk-ed. And then, Jimmy too. D:
I was early so i ended up covering a lot of places i wanted to check out which is cool. :) SALES. (Y) They are great. :’)
Had been meaning to check out the bands playing in Laundry for some time now. Which is only on Thurs nights. Kent brought is friends so it wasn’t so.. sad. :)
Definitely an eye-opener. Chair that moves by itself. (Y) Unfortunately for them guys, the set consisted of solos and acoustics and i suppose they wanted more exciting stuff. But.. i still liked them.

He had big eyes. :B There was some appeal to him. LOOK AT HIS FACE. The way he sings. Plus the freshoutofNS hair. And of course, the guitar. :D

Planned to meet up with my aunt for a day out at Times Square.
Since i was meeting her at KL Sentral, i thought i’d bring her to eat THE BEST PORK NOODLES AND CENDOL EVER.
Brickfields. <3 If only you weren’t so dodgy and scary at times and didn’t have random motorcyclist tainting your name even more by splashing acid at people who are obviously more advanced and successful in life than you are. GTFO, you people.

Anyway, maybe im not that well exposed to other places and stuff but i honestly feel that the pork noodles and the cendol there are like THE BEST so far. Well. for my own tastebuds anyway.
All your worries gone with every spoonful of the soup. or cendol~ :D

And i shall go off-topic for awhile.

WHY IS BRICKFIELDS DODGY AND SCARY? (personal opinion)

1) Acid splashers (as mentioned). Hopefully its a temporary thing. :/

2) Drunkards everywhere. Mostly at night. I’ve heard stories that during the later part of the night, drunk zombies roam the land of Brickfields. Thankfully, i’ve never stayed long enough to find out if it’s true. But i did have the chance to encounter one during the day. The poor guy with the huge beer belly was lying down at the edge on the pavement, body sprawled, upper body on the pavement, legs on the main road where there was heavy traffic.

Unfortunately, i wasn’t aware of his drunkness and it never occured to me so immediately when i saw him, my first-aider instincts kicked in. THANKGOD I DID NOT DO ANYTHING. Mind you, the guy was seriously out cold – drunk. I did however, call the ambulance. :/

IF THERE IS EVER AN EMERGENCY, DIAL 999, PEOPLE. Don’t be smart and dial 911 because that don’t work here.

3) Snatch theives. No personal encounter yet (yay) but c’mon. It’s KL. Ok general assumption but it’s valid. IN THE TOWN OK. Alot of bikes around. :/

4) Red light district baybehhh. K this is just the dodgy side of it.
A LOT of spa centres, cheap karaoke places, motels, hotels and of course, any weird, bold coloured door/block which has mattresses leaning on them (true story).

K im done with thinking for more points. But of course, it’s not that bad. I’ve survived nearly 2 years of walking through the place. And the food everywhere definitely makes up for everything.
I’D CATCH A GRENADE FOR AWESOME FOOD. lolno.

Okeh so coming back to the last point. It makes it kinda interesting for aunt&niece to be strolling nicely on the way to the monorail station because just when everything’s going well, SOMETHING GETS IN THEIR WAY.

It finally digested that i have the week off! :D Well, of course im suppose to be studying and stuff. I will (soon). :)

It’s kinda funny because all i was thinking about before this was getting through 13 hours of pure speed-writing. And then when it ended only did i realise I HAD THE WEEK OFF. Like almost everyone overseas, i shall have a self-declared easter break too woots! :D

Was looking forward to it since it’s supposedly super great.

Well i think that was the problem. Too many awesome reviews and awards brought my expectations too high. But no doubt, a good movie. TRULY INSPIRATIONAL~

For some really random reason, i have been filling my ears with Linkin Park coz they are suddenly super awesome?!
Some say that they’ve lost the X factor because Mike Shinoda’s not able to be in scream mode constantly throughout the songs.
But i honestly prefer it that way.
Maybe im not suppose to be an LP fan in the first place. :/
But wtv their current songs are great. (Y)

Well, on an unrelated note, Prince (still) hates me. But i feel his stubborness has lifted a bit. So until then, i play with GG. :D

How applying for universities/scholarships feels like.

Crap.
The process it tedious, tiring and boring. I fill in the same things over and over again. Ironically, a lot of applications want different things too. Essays, resumes, a short paragraph with different titles, scanned documents, scanned certified documents, photostated certified documents GEESH. SO ANNOYING.
And i hope and pray that i get them. Not all. But a few would be enough for me to know that the time sacrificed for studying for my trials which are coming up in three days to apply for all this is worth it. :/

So my weekend was quite eventful. Application wise, unfortunately and among other things. :)

Went back to school to teach first aid for RC camp. NOSTALGIC. Definitely fun to be doing it again! :D
Btw, i realized how much i love clean classrooms. THEY ARE THE BEST! :D

Vision ‘10 Magazine!

Being the Head of the Advertising Dept was crazy. Which is why im so glad that everything’s over. Finding potential sponsors, calling them, persuading them, sending letter all over the place (yucks), emailing, faxing, proof reading, getting letters signed and approve, coordinating with the other departments, coordinating with the people in the department, coordinating with the lazy ones, bitching about the lazy ones to Haq UGH SRSLY. You would think some people would actually put effort into the job. it’s not like someone forced you to be part of the Editorial Board. You volunteered so i expect you to take your job seriously. But no, they sign up, then decide to go AWOL for the rest of the semester.

It was definitely a good experience for me.
Now that it’s over, it’s easy for me to say that i don’t regret joining the team last year.
Of course, things might have been different during the entire process heheh.

Thinking about Ed Board has got me thinking about college. 2-3 more months of college life left. I honestly don’t know how i should feel.
I guess it’s a bittersweet moment that everyone goes through.
I remember when i couldn’t wait for college to start. But im thinking that’s probably due to the 6-7 months holiday i had after SPM.
But even know, im already excited for university! As much as it’s still unclear of where i’ll be heading to, i’m determined to have a blast. :)

IT AMAZES ME EVERYTIME WHEN I SEE THE AMOUNT OF DOGS RUNNING AROUND.

Ugh if only i could bring Prince there he would follow me around without a leash, without eating the small pups around him. :/

I WILL GET MY OWN AWESOME KITE AND FLY IT THERE. Seriously, everything there is so cool. EVEN THE SWING IS COOL ARGH.

We were mainly admiring the doggies there. We. My mom. Who hates dogs. But was still admiring them.

Came back just in time for Earth Hour!

I personally feel that by switching off our lights for an hour will not make much of a difference to climate change and global warming.
It could be a starting point for some though. After all, the event is to create awareness.
For all the publicity that Earth Hour is getting, the founders of it should consider expanding the project bit by bit.

But then again, its about time everyone practiced habits that don’t harm the environment. How many wake up calls do we actually need right?

Is it me or are there a series of disasters happening within weeks ALL AROUND THE WORLD?

So remember to always REUSE, REDUCE AND RECYCLE!
Not only do those actions save the Earth, they save animals too! :D

So yesterday, a bunch of us made our way to the Temple of Fine Arts to have lunch after college.
The restaurant inside TOFA, Annalakshmi serves authentic vegetarian indian food which are all superdelicious! :D

I didn’t have my camera with me so most of these pictures are picked randomly from the internet!

Firstly, to clear any doubts about what TOFA is, it isn’t a temple. It’s sort of like an institute? where a lot of performing arts takes place. So yea, very full of culture and whatnot. :)

So i don’t really how to put everything in an orderly manner, but that’s why we have Wikipedia right? :)

Annalakshmi is an international chain of vegetarian restaurants operating in a unique concept of "Eat to your heart's content, Pay what your heart feels". It is run as a Non-profit organization.
First line off Wiki on Annalakshmi. ;)

So yeah that’s basically it. Tasty vegetarian food laid down buffet-style for people to eat at their heart’s content and pay any amount they want to. Pretty interesting concept. What’s even more interesting is when your ego comes into action, whether to pay more so you don’t look too cheapskate, or pay too little and be super self-conscious bout it!

Pappadam is GREAT. ALL THE GRAVIES ARE GREAT.Okay well, I’m a fan of Indian food so when the aroma of spices hits me in the face when i enter the restaurant, i was in HEAVEN! I was really hungry too so maybe that’s a factor to take into consideration heh.

Oh and what’s extra great about the place is their fresh lassi. Plain, salt, sweet, mango, you name it! :) I usually just order the mango lassi. :D
Not to mention, they serve fresh juices and other things fresh on ordering! And EVERYTHING TASTES GOOD.
Interiors have cozy lighting, consist of outdoor and indoor seatings and very interesting decors all around the place! Friendly and punctual service too, SO PLEASE, IF YOU DO EAT THERE, DON’T BE SO STINGY.

All in all, definitely something new to try out. A big bonus of you’re a fan of Indian food. And it’s vegetarian! :D So.. yes its Halal.
TOFA itself is hard to miss, as it’s a huge building. Plus its located beside the Maha Vihara Buddhist Temple so it shouldn’t be hard to miss!

Okay so that concludes this segment for this post on me promising to help promote the place.
BECAUSE IT REALLY IS AWESOME.

So funny, seems like the only reason why i update is because of food.
But FOOD MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND so that’s okay! :D

Last Sunday, had Korean food AGAIN. This time it was at Seo Gung @ SS2 mainly to try out their Kimchi Jikkeh heheh. Can’t tell if there were any differences than the one i had in AmcorpMall so it was still delicious! KIMCHI JIKKEH FTW.
Their chicken bulgogi served in claypot is not bad too! Awesome soups.

After some sort of a bittersweet morning spent in college yesterday, me and Haq decided to go for charkueyteow somewhere near.. Western Digital. Some mamak place which serves halal chinese food and the charkueyteow was GOOOOD! :D

The off we went to The Curve to meet up with Choons. <3 Been so long we were all together.
Spent hours catching up with each other! :D
Chilled mostly at The Apartment for desserts after she had her lunch.

ETON MESS.

Damnit im a sucker for desserts. Both cakes were good! Okay i don’t think the Eton Mess counts as a cake. It was just like, a mess.
SO INTRIGUING. Made of cream covered meringue with some strawberry sauce and bits of strawberries all over! :D But yes, light dessert which was compensated with the Chocolate Raspberry.

Delicious desserts accompanied with great company to catch up makes a good Friday. :)

On an unrelated note, i’ll be blogging less frequent for the few months to come.

Genetically modified (GM) FRUITS ARE AWESOME!

Anyone tried Apple-guavas? Because they’re pretty awesome! Seriously its a freaking crossbreed of apples and guavas. Shape, smell, TASTE.
I mean seriously. So awesome.

Anyway, enough bout apple-guavas.

ITS KIWIBERRIES TIME! :D

THEY ARE ADORABLE. Smaller than strawberries, a bit bigger than grapes, NOT FURRY AT ALL. And still looks like a strawberry.. or kiwi. Whatever.

So yeah as you can see, its mostly more of a super minikiwi! :D Taste like one too, i guess. They were quite ripe so i guess it was kinda soft. :/ But still so awesome coz NEW FOOD and SO INTERESTING and.. new! :D

I really don’t know how long kiwiberries have been in the market but i just discovered them today so.. yeah. :) EXCITED.

I ENJOYED IT. But i might be a bit bias because I LOVE DISNEY.
Basically, Beastly is a modern remake of Beauty and the Beast.
Im just really amused by how accurate Beastly was to Beauty and the Beast. Well, somehow it was.

Srsly how can you say no to Neil Patrick Harris?!!
I am also seriously amused by how much he brought Barney Stinson into the movie. The way he talks and HIS JOKES. And yes, his priceless facial expressions and half-smiles. Too good. :)

You could tell that most of the people laughing in the cinema were the ones who actually watched HIMYM. Because srsly Barney Stinson was being blind in the movie! :D

Was the place Zf brought me for dinner tonight!
Jap buffet (again?) for dinner OMG crazy fat now.

But anyway, worth it for a great night with gold-class service like waiting in the car for the driver to run to my side to open my door hahah. :D

We were there early so the whole place was almost empty but ppl came streaming in and soon enough, full house! :O

Interiors were well lit but i didn’t like the tables because omg so huge practically have to shout over anything i wanted to say to Zf. D:

Food was buffet-style so everything was ready. I was disappointed that the chawanmushi and miso soup (ilovedem) were not steaming hot (that it’ll cook my throat as i swallow them) but all is well because everything was still delicious.:D

Well im a sucker for jap food so. everything’s great!:D
Not to mention, service was impressive.

Sashimi wasn’t served cold. So i improvised and took ice from the dessert section and chilled the sashimi and BOOMAWESOMENESS.
The third pic is grilled beef and salmon with garlic sauce. thesauceisthebestlahsrsly. OWN. I don’t eat beef so i can only say that the salmon was delicious. :)

Hahah instead of a post of how the date went, this seem to be going in the direction of a food review.

So since we were too far for comfort, i was touched when Zf agreed to sit beside me on the same side facing the whole restaurant for dessert.
Yes we are quite sampat. But that makes it so hilarious sometimes.

By the time dinner ended it was too late to hang out anywhere else so we just walked around the many lobbies and took pictures. :)

Another update!

The week so far has been.. okay for me.

Lunch buffet on Sunday at Seasons Hotel with relatives.
Got dumped by Tj on Tuesday. D: Wednesday was interesting. "Nothing" happened. Twice. Ginrummy session at night with Zf, Ch, Mh and Jeff.
And today was spent chilling in Zf hse, out for chilli panmee for lunch, watched Going the Distance, and should be leaving for mamak later. :)
Tomorrow night shall be interesting. :D

Well so, interesting arrangement of numbers calls for an update!

But since i had a really long (but good) day, i’ll just highlight it.

See, I was beginning to think me and ZF were weird coz somehow we always stayed indoors. Not that it wasn’t fun. It was always fun enough and so comfortable that i realized we were spending less time out. Long story short, we spent the day at MidValley/The Gardens.

BECAUSE PEPPER LUNCH IS GREAT.
Anything served with a whole lot of pepper and/or salt and/or MSG has got to be super awesome.
Yeah so i like MSG deal with it. IT MAKES FOOD CRAZY DELICIOUS! :D

Quite a bit of walking was done. Some signs of couple-syndrome were showing so that was pretty interesting! Couple-syndrome is when you start doing the stuff 75% of other couples would do. I’ll let you come up with your own examples. ;)

After walking a bit more, we decided it was time to fulfill the third aim;

I only had my camera then, so only this part has pics. :)

After reading a couple of reviews i decided to try their signature Tiramisu and Pavlova which were both obviously selling fast. Everything looked so pretty!

GOOD CAKES. Seriously there were no good ways to get nice pictures of the cakes i have tried every angle. Maybe im just really sucky but the slices looked so much better as a whole. THESE PICTURES DON’T DO ANY JUSTICE.

Generally im not a fan of Tiramisu but this would be an exception!:D HURRAYFORAWESOMECAKES.
However, i would’ve preferred it with less nuts. The whole slice was just smothered in it!!?!

Pavlova was so interesting because i’ve never tasted anything like it before so i was just too amazed by the whole cake to judge for real heheh. Plus i wouldn’t know how it’s suppose to taste like but i definitely enjoyed it because it was so light. AND SO COOL.
Zf prefers his cakes more solid so to him, eating the Pavlova was “like eating air”. :/

Oh right. Zf was trying to be all English so he ordered TEA SO FUNNY.
But ohgosh jasmine tea does all the good in the world when it washed down all the sweetness for me so that i could continue eating the cakes again and again.
Not that the cakes were too sweet but you get it. :)

But you see, i just had an awesome night out just now, which included me drinking a small glass of mocha.

CNY Preparations

Gah so many things to do!

Stupid exams ended so late, barely have time do prepare for CNY. But i know i shouldn’t complain since there are still people who are taking papers. O.O Until 2nd Feb. O.O
Screw you, Edexcel, you suck for not considering the most important celebration for us Chinese clan.
Someone should get ahlongs to paste their their dodgy advertisements on the main Edexcel building or smth. :D

Anyway, speaking of preparations,

1) Got my CNY shopping done! Didn’t get like that many things, but im happy with my purchases so everything’s good!:D Yayyyyy!

2) WALL PAINTING. IS. SHITS. No im not referring to murals. Just repainting the walls. Ugh its so stupid. You paint one coat and the whole thing looks ugly at first because its darker when the paint is wet but will lighten up when its dry so the wall looks so ugly. Then you have to go over with a second coat because one coat isn’t enough OMG so frustrating. Stupid walls. No idea how im going to paint my room. Freaking green and blue walls are too cute but nuuu everyone says they look so kindee. :( WHO CARES I LOVE IT.
But i know i have to paint it into a more neutral and mature (means boring) colour soon. But omg it’ll probably take 5-8 coats and no im not exaggerating. D:

Still have more painting to do coz the stupid walls are stupid. OMG im ranting about painting walls. Leaving to Teluk Intan tonight!:D
SO IM SUPPOSE TO FINISH PAINTING THE WALLS NOW, YOU SEE. UGH. Lame walls.

3) And Gg’s face was so messed up, and i mean REALLLLLLYYYYY messed up and i was like no way we’re gonna clean her so i kept pestering my dad to bring her for grooming but HE KEPT PROCRASTINATING im like omg can u please we're gonna leave for kampung soon.
So today, i couldn’t stand it anymore, i wanted to bring her for grooming myself but ALAS, THE GROOMING CENTRE WAS FULL NOOOO.
So i decided to groom her myself and im so awesome coz i did it! Okay self-praise much but i really didn’t think i could do it because like i said her face was messed up. No before picture, tho. Only when i started trimming her fur halfway that i thought i should take before-after pics.

So there, left side of her face trimmed only a bit, her right-side untouched, YOU CAN’T EVEN SEE HER EYES and im telling you, it’s not the angle. It’s her messed up fur.
She just really like to dump her face in stuffs and make it all dirty and icky. –.- And well yeah her grooming session was well overdued.

And the thing is, because she’s familiar with us, she makes it hell for us to groom her because she struggles like mad!
And so i put her on the red stool and because she’s afraid of heights, just stayed there calmly while i snipped at her face! :D

So yesterday was my LAST PAPER although not ever, but for now. And referring to the post before this, EVERYTHING STARTS NOW.
Well, everything that’s fun!:D

Immediately met up with people at Williams @Taman Mayang. Place with good food, friendly cats walking around not bothering about the scurrying rats that will catch your attention every once in a while and not to forget, moth-looking flying cockroaches. :) But of course, the company made it all even better. :D

Ended the night pretty late, which wasn’t cool since i had to wake up early the next day for jap buffet at Umai-Ya all the way in Puchong. D:
Arrived a lil late, but it was worth it for the unlimited supply of food i’ve been wanting to go since months back.

Salmon sashimi, the supposedly award-winning Dragon Maki which was “not bad at all” as ZF said and all the food just from the first order. It was. A. Lot.

And some of the pics taken, mostly when waiting for food. Although service was really efficient!

Overall, it was an awesome only-meal-for-the-day for me. :)

After lunch,we decided to head over to Curve to start my CNY shopping!:D

Unfortunately, all i got was one piece of clothing. D:
Which was expensive. For me. Ugh i hate myself for spending so much on it. But at the same time i hate myself for being too thrifty most of the time that it’ll make me think 50 times about whether i should spend money on something.
Im sad.

After buying stuff and checking out the weekend bazaar there, it was time to leave.
After 2 repeated WRONG u-turns consecutively (freaking hilarious i tell you), sent Zf back, got *forced* to stay awhile but ended up spending quite some time there BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT.

EXCUSE ME HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO THAT.

Haiyoh already so photogenic since young.

I guess the highlight of it all was when his family joined in the fun digging up superold photos. Nothing beats listening to people dishing about their own flesh&blood in front of them. ;) There were many embarrasing shots but i will be a nice person. :)

Came home, washed up and here i am!:D
Today was definitely well-spent. :D Great way to start my too-short CNY holiday.

Dear 2010,

You were a great year.

You know how people generally comment that with each passing year, time seem to be passing by faster. But surprisingly, it isn’t the case for me this time, this year. I had fun, no doubt, but i remember i had funner years, when everything was more straight forward and the hardships seem too far away to be bothered. But this year seem like its a different ball game altogether.

Well I shall not reminisce or compare past years to this, but shall try to count the uncountable memories that have been etched in 2010. :)

Anyway, to continue on with my last post, my 30th Dec was spent mostly with Zhenfeng.

Nephew Davin all grown up. Seriously, his flawless complexion is AMAZING. I just couldn’t stop staring at his faceeeeeee!

Well, im quite positive that this will be the last post for the year (unless i cheat and sneak one in) so.. i know not all will be reading this, but to my family, i love you and may the new year brings us closer together and that we learn not to take each other for granted.

So its the end of the December and i realized i only have one post so far. But i’ve been occupied anyway. :)

Went for a Christmas musical with Jas ad friends at Jaya 1 on 10.12. Had a great time! :D Not a lot of pics though, but we did catch a glimpse of how cool car detailing was!

It was the first Rolls Royce limo-with-super-long-name in Msia which has HUGE BODY AND TYRES and 2 doors. Awesome stuff.

On the 12.12, had the usual Fats with more people then usual. Met people i’ve been wanting to. ;) +dinner and deserts! :D

Surprisingly, i didn’t feel as emotional as i was expecting myself to be. Well most probably due to the testimonial forms. But it was a good day in college. :) In a way, it was as normal as ever! Except for the picture-taking everywhere!

I know i know its only trials. But seriously its freaking peer pressure when everyone is stressing over it.

Interesting night.

So there’s this small occasion happening 2 doors away from my house. For the mid-autumn festival, even though it had past.
Lots of people, kids running around. Even a sound system! Huge stereos and some person shouting into it. :)

So Jeff came to pick up his guitar after Fats. And he saw Kim, a lil wet, trying to quirt water at me.
And so he promised himself that he would get her wet before he went back home.
HOW RANDOM IS THAT?

THEY GUY WHO STARTED IT ALL.

And then later everything happened so fast i don’t really remember. :/
All i know is after getting a lil wet, Kimmy ambushed me and splashed me with AIR SIRAP FROM A CUP WTHHH.
Refreshing cold drink all over my face. (Y)

All i wanted to do was to go home and bathe and do my work. :(

But no, there were small kids with TWO ADULTS RUNNING AND SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER going in and out of my porch to get water to splash at each other wthhh.

Yes, we stole the children crowd away from my neighbour and probably distracted their musical chair game SORRY!

Just thought i’d write a personal review on my dinner.
WHO KNOWS maybe my blog will encourage a hungry tourist online to try the place out. :D

So if you’re a hungry tourist, why not try a meal at Elcerdo! :D

So Elcerdo is located in Bukit Bintang, if im not mistaken, it’s at the Golden Triangle itself so it wouldn’t be THAT hard to find it. :)
Elcerdo specialize in pork dishes. And when i say specialize, i mean its THE ONLY THING THEY SERVE. Other than the soups and the drinks. :)

Me and family were running late so by the time we reached, my aunt had already ordered. so i can’t exactly tell you what are the dishes, will try to remember though!

The interior was dimly lit, too dim for my liking though i couldn’t take pretty pictures. My camera is largely at fault too. SO excuse the either too bright or too dark pictures. :) However, i do think its a nice place for a date, it’s also a nice place to show off your wallet, if you know what i mean. The prices are nice yo. VERY nice. Fine dining bytheway, people!
The place had a cozy feel to it but since our table was in a room, i didn’t really get to check out the atmosphere outside.

So this is the “One Plate of 4 different Mini Sausages” if im not mistaken. It was really good! Didn’t get to try everything though, it was shared between 12 people! :) This came after the complementary mushroom soup and bread. BREAD WAS GOOOODDD!
Some didn’t though but i was definitely feeling it, the crust was salty and the centre was soft and tasty too!:D Bread is good.

This would be one of their pork ribs, i tried 2 types. The meat on this was tougher than the other though. But IMO this was more tasty:)

Hmm according to their menu, i only see one type of ribs. :/
So i would think this would be the BBQ glazed ribs?

Now this was awesome! You know how in Chinese restaurants they serve you this and its mostly made up of fats or very little meat?
This was less fatty and there was alot of meat and the crispy skin was delicious!:D

It looked so good that there was no time to snap a pic before stabbing a huge chunks of meet off.

OKAY i really don’t know whats this called so just ask for the whole poor piglet and eat it okay.

Unfortunately it had too much fat for my liking.
It was definitely crispy though! And not so pungent, which was a A+ for me.
I could never understand how they can be so pungent. Usually served in Chinese restaurants again. :)

So the waiter came in and started telling us this story about this woman who wanted to prove to people how crispy and well cooked this dish was. And to prove it, she would use a normal round plate to.. BANG IT AND IT WOULD BREAK INTO PIECES FOR YOU TO EAT.

YEH so Ju and Yang were the volunteers to.. yeah you get it. It was very cool. :)

So after using the plates, the tradition was to break it after making a wish.
Yes so you can imagine the amount of plates breaking there was in the restaurant.
WHOLE NIGHT I TELL YOU! The whole times we were there! There was… glass..breaking. Just like that.

This was also very cool. :)

AND THATS NOT THE END. The whole night we probably heard the staff singing happy birthday more than 5 times. There is no way that there were so many ppl’s birthday on the same date in the same restaurant okay.
So when they asked if there was anyone’s birthday coming up, OF COURSE WE SAID YES! :)

Their version is cute. Its like they harmonize when they go “OINK ONK”! :D

Shots contained white wine, martini and fresh lemon juice.

So after that, we went home:)

On an overall view, i think the place is definitely worth trying out. Something different. Of course, don;t go there if you are not willing to spend. Then again, its not THAT BAD. Do give the deserts a try and get back to me if possible coz i didn’t get to try them. :( Everything looked delicious but the cheapest one on the menu was about RM25. D: Yes.

HELLO.

Short post here.

Whole day spent at Bugis. Shopped, ate, walked, talked, shopped, walked, walked.
Feet. Pain. Money. WAAAAANT.

You know what would be super awesome? If i was earning S'pore salary. I will buy stuff from here, then when im bored, i'll go to M'sia and buy stuff from there! :D

What else? Went to Clarke Quey at night, to check out the nightlife. Ate ice cream, saw awesome extreme swings (OMG pwned soleroshot@Genting 99) and took sampat pictures. :) Sat and talked until we were indirectly halau-ed. :( So we were forced to go back home.
Totally forgot to look for Hooters, sorry to disappoint, zf!

And then.. we didn't have the key to go back up to the condo.
So, the three of us were abandoned. We ended up chilling beside the condo's awesome pool. I ended up sleeping on the chair! D: Yes that tired.

And now im here. at 4.41am still typing WHAT AM I DOING.

:D I have came to a conclusion that people here have big boobs. Whether tourists or locals, everywhere i turn, i see cleavages on most of the women.

NOT THAT I PURPOSELY LOOK AT THEIR CHESTS.
They are deliberately dressing to show off their assets. It makes me feel sad about myself. D:

The second conclusion i came up with is that, the people here know how to dress up!:D
Even the aunties here dress up IT IS SO AWESOME you see high heels everywhere and you're surrounded by pretty people. Dresses and different sort of fashion woots!

I know i know, Singapore isn't really foreign land. BUT SERIOUSLY its been so long since the last time i've been here, and everything just looks so different.. in a very similar setting like home. Yah i don't get what im saying anyway.

Spent the day at City Hall -Suntec Mall, Ion Orchard and other places...?

So i had a fairly enjoyable weekend!:D

So let’s see. On Friday, i was all hyped up and totally semangat to be super nerdy during the weekends! :D
Unfortunately.. :/

WELL. I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED i just wanted to take a nap at like. some weird time. At 4pm. Then i woke up at 7.30pm. Ate dinner. Did abit of stuff that didn’t include studying. And then i decided to take a nap which became a totally awesome sleep til 9am the next day:D

So yeah aside from college on Fri, i slept the whole day away.

Saturday!

Managed to get some things done. Blablabla. Sudden urge to paint my nails, (credits to zf hahah) and they actually turned out unexpectedly okay!:)

Then got ready to attend Leongzz farewell at his hse. HE IS LEAVINGGGGG. D:
And on a brighter note, he’s furthering his studies to Canada! :D

Now of all the gatherings i have attended in Leongzz hse, this would’ve been the 2nd most interesting one (1st involves puking) because i actually drank a lil more than i usually did! I guess i was just expecting something to happen to my body or something taking over my mind but naaa, i was sober!
No, i did not intentionally drink just so i would get drunk.

It was a great night overall. I guess everyone knew it was suppose to be a memorable night for all of us, especially for Leongzz.

And right before going home i had a sudden impulse to pierce my ears.

15 minutes after that thought incurred me, I HAD BURNING EARSSSSSSSSSSSSS with new piercings. :)

BBQ Night/ McRave / Masquerade / Halloween / Midsummer’s Masquerade 2010

Came home from college, wanted to take a nap but guess there was kind of alot to prepare so i didn’t really got to rest. I actually planned to do my make up at home, and brave my way through traffic, in the lrt and the walk from the station to my college.

BUT MY MAMA DIDN’T LET ME COZ SHE WAS AFRAID I WOULD BE TOO “UGLY” BUT YET ATTRACT ENOUGH ATTENTION TO MYSELF ENOUGH FOR SOMEONE TO “FOLLOW ME HOME”.

For those who don’t know, i decided to go as a MIME.
I went through a couple of late nights to decide what i would go as, and in the last minute, yeah, MIME!

Yes we took pictures of each other in the lrt. BECAUSE IT WAS SUCH AN EPIC MOMENT.

Haq went as Lord Gaga. You can actually see the handphones he managed to tie on his head.
So obviously, i did not attract as much attention as Haq. Although this random uncle came up to me and asked if i had just finished my dance class~

We reached col at 6pm, right on time. But well, i had to hide myself in the StudentCouncil room to do my make up!

I actually liked what i did on myself HAHAH. Special thanks to Jas who helped me draw nice green swirlies and a blue star on my face:)

So went around taking pictures. Then we had to sit. Then there was the announcements, speeches and PERFORMANCES!

We sat at the basketball court. Have no idea how we all managed to fit inside there. Or maybe not everyone was there hahah. BECAUSE THERE WAS SO MANY PPL.

Performances was great! Didn’t really get photos of performances though:/ CAMERA CACAT.

So i just came back from my Bbq Night/McRave/WhateverTheyWereCallingIt.
Its a yearly event my college has, and i think it sorta marks the end of the current July batch's orientation and.. for fun?
Well, i think it's just pretty random lah to have something like this BUT IM NOT COMPLAINING coz its just pretty awesome!:)

It's been so long! More than 20 days since i last posted.

So it was suppose to be a day with ZF for an early bday celebration, nothing big(:

Went over to his house after college, relaxed for awhile, and then it was PRESENT TIME! :D
I received 7 presents altogether! Nothing fancy, small stuff but still good heheh.
Although i would say the 7th present wasn't actually a present. B) hi zf.

Washed up, and then off we went to dinner! After dropping off his younger bro at KBU for malam bakat.
We went to Curve to have Kenny Rogers.

We went there because we were arguing about which was better, Nando's or Kenny Rogers.

DUH NANDO'S RIGHT?

Since we had Nando's a week ago, KR!

But KR's muffins are so goood.
BUT THAT DOES NOT COUNT BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE FAMOUS FOR THIER CHICKENSSS.

And DELIA (i didn’t take a picture with her:( ) somehow found out my birthday was in 3 minutes (it was 11.57pm) and eagerly went around Starbucks announcing to everyone AND BEFORE I KNEW IT,
the whole place was singing a happy birthday to me.

Well it was so random, something worth remembering:) AND ITS EMBARRASSING.
The moment of awkwardness when the song has ended and people are thinking, “Okay, what next?” because ITS NOT LIKE I HAD CAKE FOR EVERYONE I AM SORRY. D:

17th July 2010

So the next day, as i was getting ready to leave the house, David Chew decided to drop by!
To wish and everything. It was so great seeing you, although i don’t know if you’ll ever read this hahah. Old friends reunite! (Y)
Totally started off my day with a superboost!:D

After catching up awhile, we both had to go. I headed to Seoul Garden in Ou. I actually thought it was new when it had just relocated HEHEHEH.

The sad part was that Zf’s camera died. D: So i don’t have a lot of pictures. Sads. TJ, SW, MABEL I WANT! :)

It was basically Korean bbq&steamboat buffet. I personally liked it a lot because i just thought that everything was just extra tasty!:D

It really was a very nice place! Im just worried it would get too publicized and then IT WOULD GET CROWDED AND NOT COOL ANYMORE. :(

So hello!:D

I guess quite some stuff has been happening. And they all had to be right before college started. :(
But better then never!:D

On Thursday(24.6.10), me, Tj and Sw went to the pasar malam! Talked, caught up, then went over to Tj's hse to do our nails, it was quite a girly night(: (Kent, sorry you couldn't join us.) NEXT TIME! :D

Then on Friday, Jas spontaneously invited me over to a cell group (CG) happening at her friend's hse in DJ.
Okay so im not really clear on what CG is about, but what i get is that the people in it does discussions about whatever topic on Christianity that they want to discuss!:D

After about an hour in the house we went over to a mamak nearby to just chillout. Since i had time, why not right(:

Honestly, i really didn't know what to expect and neither did Jas but hey, the night turned out pretty cool.
Learnt that its a pretty small worldddddd (after all). So its cool!:D
Learnt new things, learnt how to play Monopoly Deal (super fun!) and.. i guess it was cool because there was actually no sense of wkwardness for me with them so i was already sampating. :/
Okay so obviously, the more fun part was during the mamak. B)

Oh right. And i just have to mention this.
Because of the teh tarik i drank at the mamak, the caffeine worked on me and i couldn't sleep until...

Enghoe picked me and a couple more then we headed to Amanda's.
After THREE U-TURNS, TWO EXTRA TOLLS and a lot "CHILL LAHs" later, we sucessfully found our way to Amanda's AND one of the earliest! :D

It was definitely a fun night because.. i laughed so much, my voice changed at the last part of the night. :(
Seriously, i sounded like a toadddd.

So yes.
The amount of fun i had tonight reminded of how i was when i had first started college and the six months after. I had no idea why i didn't have as much fun all this while until now, a year later. Although i wouldn't say i regretted anything (yet), im kind of glad i still have another year to go. Some people i meet in college would probably think im wild and extremely loud (in a bad way) but tonight im glad im referred to as being an open person.
Who is still loud. :/

Okay so on Friday, me and my cousin made a spontaneous decision to head over to Bangsar to do some shopping!:D

With the use of the very useful GPS (sometimes) we easily found our way there.

Anyway, we didn't manage to shop alot but it was a well overdued date we owed each other so it was great that we just got to spend time updating ourselves with each other. :D

This is the frozen yogurt we shared from Tutti Frutti. I really liked it:D It's quite pricey though but definitely worth trying. THEN YOU KNOW.

Kimmy's friend somehow lent her whole Season 1 (i think) we've been watching it a lil by lil and DUDEOMGWTHSTUPID what the heck is wrong with gossip girl seriously!

... Okay now i know u either hate me or love me. :(

But IMO, GEEZ whats wrong with it, all the unnecessary drama! It seriously just pisses me off. -.- PLUS they don't even try to make it original the drama/pre-drama has to be so damn predictive and cliche i'd tell kimmy what's gonna happen and everything is super spot on okay.

Seriously people, who in their right mind would switch masks and lend over her cardigan. And then different guys would conveniently come over, obviously mistaken the identity of the girl and BOOM drama time in the next 250 episodes.

Okayokay im exaggerating, i know i do that, but really. The nonsensical drama.
HOWEVER, it is watchable(: So please don't burn my house.
Maybe it's just the wrong season for me to watch or smth. :/

A few days ago, i had my first churro! Or my first churros. Wtv. :)

It was my first one, so i really didn't know how it's suppose to taste like. :/
AND. I was having a flu too. So i also couldn't really taste it-,- So i guess it's safe to say that, i really liked the texture?:D
How its... sorta crispy outside and soft inside. Kinda chewy too :D

I also tried

Takoyaki! It was on the same day i had the churros. SO I COULDN'T REALLY TASTE IT TOO:( yes that is quite ugly looking heh.

It was a success!

Third day of my 20-day holiday!

Lets see. What did i do today.
Im just trying to update as frequently as possible for the mo so that i can look back and see what a loserish/awesome holiday i had(:

So yesterday was suppose to be productive. But in the end, i only bathed GG.
AND NOW SHE'S SMELLY AGAIN. I just don't know whats her problem man. Always licking herself constantly then she becomes smelly:(

SO TODAY, i watched HIMYM again! Awesome stuff(:

Then went swimming with Kimmy and Ju. Then i went to pasar malam woots.

Then i just sorta lepaked, played nailpolish with Kimmy which was exhausting OMGG.

First day of my 20-day holiday WOOTS.
Omg sounds so pathetic. Con artists in my college say i have a month off. THE WHOLE JUNE.
Yeha right-.- TWENTY DAYS is not a month.
Sads.

SO i spent my first day watching HIMYM til the wee hours of the morning. And then i slept. ;D

It was beautiful.

And then spent the whole day in Ikano-Curve-Ikea walking around, trynna find nice shoes for my lil sis. (: Yes she was willing to follow me around walking like mad window shopping!:D

So anyways. There was this Bird Park in Ikano. Pretty "park" with birds in big cages. There were awesome birds like the cockatoos, cockatiels and even a farm owl. Cool stuff yo;)

There's also this one where its super huge with birds flying everywhere inside and YOU CAN WALK IN IT and check out pretty birds.
Apparently there was suppose to be a pelican in there too! But we didn't see one.
So there we were, checkin out cool birds. Up down left right.

WHEN SUDDENLY.

I felt something fell on my shoulder. I looked up but i didn't see anything. :/

AND THEN.

I FELT SOMETHING WARM SOAK INTO MY SHIRT. MY PRETTY SHIRT.

And then, for that short moment. The bimbo side of me took over. And..

Im not trying to brainwash you but considering I've already spared some of my time to let you "argue" your point, im thinking you should at least spare me some of your time, too.

I mean, if i really don't like you and think you have stupid opinions and are just too stubborn to share thoughts with, seriously, i won't be wasting my time on you.

And! I don't get people who preach. Whatever their beliefs or opinions. Its like they just NEED YOU TO BE IN SYNC WITH THEM.
